Originally an homage to the wonderful Tamagotchi Homepage known as the "The Bureau for the Advancement of Understanding of Tamagotchi" , this site seeks to increase the use and understanding of the whimsical communications program known as PostPet.

As well, the Bureau for the Understanding and Research of PostPets (BURP) encourages thoughtful communication regarding PostPets, Virtual Pets and Artificial Life, and just life in general.

Members of the Bureau will be invited to PostPet Parties (in which a great many PostPets will visit one member in one day) and discussion will be encouraged via a round robin circle.
