Extra Guests

Occasionally, little "guests" appear in the window of the "room", like an angel or a duck.
These "guests" can be an indicator of how happy or healthy your pet is.

- Supposedly only certain guests can show up in certain "rooms".
There were 4 basic room decors to choose from in the PostPet Beta Program, which you could change
as you saw fit... the Cat room [modern Japanese], the Bunny room [Rabbit Hutch], the Bear Room
[modern Western with wood panel floor] and the Tortoise Room [outdoors]. There are many more
rooms in the full Postpet program, as well as fan-made rooms that you can find online.
- A semi-confirmed rumour is that there are "good" extra guests, and "bad" ones, which show
how comfortable or happy your pet is with its surroundings. If you get a creepy person looking
in, or an evil vampire, that's probably a bad thing.
- There is a program created by someone other than Sony which can create original PostPet
Extra Guests. I have only seen a Japanese version of this program; however, I am not aware of
its full effects, or what kind of potential damage it may do to your PostPet program.

We at the Bureau for the Understanding and Research of PostPets wish to spread understanding of
Extra Guests, and how they affect PostPets! If you see an Extra Guest outside of your Postpet
Room's window, please e-mail us (preferably using your PostPet) at
turquoiseangel@softhome.net, and tell us your
story!
Please include, if possible:
- What the Extra Guest looked like
- What kind of room you were using when you saw the Extra Guest
- What your pet's status was (Happiness, Intelligence, Condition, Hunger, Style)
- Anything else that you think might be important.
