Welcome to my Netpet page!
For those new to Net Pets, a brief explanation:
A netpet is an online "pet" that you can adopt from various homepages around the World Wide Web.
Some netpets are interactive, in that you directly link to a picture on someone else's webpage, so that the picture on *your* page changes as the original image gets updated.
Others, like the ones frequently mentioned in my Virtual Pet Diaries (see my V-Pets Section for details) are actual online critters you can visit at another homepage, which pretty much lead an independent life of their own even when you're not interacting with them.
Still others, like the ones you see here, are "adopted" from the original webpage, and brought to their cozy little home on my own page.
At the top of the page, you can see my cheery little resident netpets!
The cute clouds are from The Enchanted Forest and the be-ribboned penguin and ice fairy are from Net-Banshee's Page!
Below them, you can see my oldest and most faithful pets, the lovely dragon twins... as well as
their cuddly pets, Whiskers the Flapcat and Cerulean the Gryphon.
The lovely young lady dragon on the left is Minuit, and the handsome young green dragon on the right is Verdigris. I considered a name like Jade or Emerald, but I was afraid it might be too "girly".
They were adopted on Thursday, November 20th, 1997, from {dixey}'s Downloadable Dragons page.
Below is yet another NetPet... Shatter-sky the Mist-Dragon.
He was adopted in the summer of 1998, and has quietly resided on this page ever since.
He's a little shy, though, and tries to blend into the background most of the time...

As many of you may have noticed by now, I have a huge soft spot for penguins. They're lovely, cute, goofy, and surprisingly vicious from time to time... just like humans! *grin*
On August 11th, 1998, I adopted my very own, unique, hand-drawn penguin netpets! Here they are:
The one on the left is Two-tone Jr. and the other one's his dad, Pingu.
