April 24th, 1998
Today, I had to go to school to hand in an essay to my English Professor. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a hold of him at his office, and so had to leave it in his mailbox/cubby-hole. I did get to take fairly good care of my other virtual pets.
My little nameless Mesuchi seemed to be doing fine, until I checked on her about noon-ish to
discover this:
She had sadly gone back to the Tamagotchi Planet, and I had been too busy trying not to fall
asleep on the busride home that I hadn't noticed it.
:(
(I missed my TamAngel's transformation, too.)
I pressed the C button, and the graveyard scrolled aside to show me that my Mesuchi had been Age 4 and 10 grams at her death. Pressing the B button led me to the screens showing that she had been 4 TMP, and 8th Generation.
I felt terrible. 8 generations of love and affection, spanning from January 25th 1998 to today, April 24th... torn asunder because I wanted to try to get a new character. It was a scant comfort to me that the batteries were only meant to last 2 months... I felt that I had let both my friend and his un-named osuchi down. (Even though my friend had already killed his Osuchi previous to this.)
My friend got to see the Mesuchi's remains when I visited him at work. The osuchi had just turned into a kuribotchi and his younger brother's gen 1 tam was a hefty 33 oz maruchi (total non sequitor, but I thought you might like to know).
I didn't re-hatch the Mesuchi until 8:05 pm, after having seen the "ghost" of the Mesuchi that
shows up after 6 pm.
[MISSING]
After some discussion, the osuchi (4th gen) was named Watusi (sp?) because of his little
dancing motion; and my newborn, 1st gen mesuchi was named Becca, from the French word "bec"
[kiss]. This was chosen because the mesuchi had, at that particular moment, looked like a
little Hershey's kiss:
But shortly thereafter, she became the Mohitamachi.
