The person raising my Osuchi brought Silverbolt and Son to the Science Fiction Society today.
I also missed my French Literature class, which I have been unable to attend for the better
part of this month. Any connection between these two events is purely coincidental.

We admired the parents with their babies, and decided upon a pair of names.
Since we've pretty much exhausted our supply of fictional cross-cultural and/or fannish
(fannish: adjective. Having to do with, or pertaining to, things of a science fictional
nature or cult status. See also "nerd" "nerd, Star Trek" and "SF geek")
couples, we decided to go for...
REAL LIFE COUPLES! Preferably literary! This time around, the babies are Spider and Jean
after those other science fictional Robinsons! (And if there are people who don't
get either reference, shame on you! Go to the theatre and see Lost in Space,
and follow that up with something from the Stardancer or Callahan series of novels!)

Heloise and Abelard
Percy Bysshe and Mary
Elizabeth and Robert
Full marks to anyone who can tell me who these couples were! Extra bonus marks to anyone who
can identify or quote from one of their works!
