My Osuchi and Mesuchi Diary

March 23rd, 1998

Not much excitement today... Miriya has been exceedingly well-behaved, and has not made any extra selfish calls. I watched the Oscars with her and my family, and was rather cross to discover that The Sweet Hereafter (by Canadian director Atom Egoyan) didn't win anything. It is, incidentally, a beautiful, intricate story... one of those films that haunts you with unanswered questions even as you leave the theatre.

Oh, and I can now confirm that she is a Pirolinchi. Max should have become the male equivalent, the Pirolirochi, by now. Of course, I don't get to see Max until Friday, so I can't be sure

As you can see, Pierce is rather shy and doesn't enjoy the spotlight nearly as much as Michelle does. I hope to make an edited version later, after I coax Pierce into the actual shot
