Today is my parents' anniversary, so we are going out for dinner. As a result, I can't phone my Osuchi's caretaker, to find out when we could next meet.
... That was what was on my mind today, as I updated my pages and patiently checked my e-mail for something from him. Imagine my surprise, then, when (while skipping class) my friend came to give me my White Day gift! (which I ended up not taking, since I sorta liked it but wasn't too passionate about it. *sigh* Had I been 5, 10 years younger I would have loved it...)
Anyhow, the friends that I was skipping class in order to talk to were quite curious about the osuchi and mesuchi, so we decided to let them mate!
Elvis, who had turned into a kiwichi, was ready, and Keiko had been waiting a good long time so... we let them mate! This time around, another friend held the Osuchi while I held Keiko in place. They mated, they were happy; then Keiko squatted down, brow furrowed, as though she felt ill. She stood up and roared, then sat down again, then gave birth to...
A pair of Kakuchi!
As the Osuchi owner put it, these kids are a lot more "squashy" than the previous babies. When they're happy, they sorta leer at you, and when they're sick, they practically disappear, as they squish down to half their height and close their eyes!
According to the Bandai chart, it looks like this pair
are going to turn into Pirolinchi and Pirolirochi
and then Biruochi and Birukochi.
*sigh*
That's the problem with the Bandai chart... it takes most of the suspense out of raising
osuchi and mesuchi...
*looks hopeful*
Unless there are more characters that haven't been discovered yet?!
