Basic Data Entry
I. Enter your name
1. When you press the reset button, the screen will display the words "what is your name?".
2. Press the A button (the leftmost button to the right of the screen) once and in the bottom left corner of the screen you will see the letter [Japanese character, not English alphabet] 'A' blinking. Pressing the A button further will cycle you through 50 different characters (holding down the A button will cycle through the characters faster).
3. When you have the desired character/letter blinking on the screen, press the B button (the middle button to the right of the screen). When you have sucessfully selected the first character of your name, it will stop blinking.
4. Enter the remaining characters of your name in the same manner.

II. Enter your birth date.
1. When you have completed entering your name (if, for example, your name only contains 5 characters, simply press the B button to enter empty spaces into the remaining 5 spaces) the birth date entry screen will be displayed.
2. Press the A button until you reach the year you were born in. Press the B button to set it. Enter the month and day in the same manner.

III. Enter your blood type
 1. When you have finished entering your birth date, the blood type entry screen will be displayed.
2. As before, use the A button to choose your blood type, and use the B button to set it.

IV. Enter your gender
 1. Once you have entered your blood type, the gender entry screen will be displayed.
2. As before, use the A button to choose your gender, and use the B button set it.

V. Enter the current date
 1. Once you have entered your gender, the current date entry screen will be displayed.
2. Choose the current year, month and day with the A button, then use the B button to set it.

VI. Enter the current time
 1. Once you have entered the current date, the current time entry screen will be displayed.
2. To enter the current time, use the A button to change the hours and the B button to change the minutes. Use the C button (rightmost button to the right of the screen) to set it and start the clock.

How to Play
I. How to view the current time
 1. When you have finished entering the current time, the clock will appear on the screen. From here, if you press the B button, the Demo Screen will be displayed.
2. While viewing the Demo Screen, press the B button to return to the clock screen.

II. How to view the current date
 1. While the clock is on the screen, press the A button to view the current date.
2. From the current date display, press the A button to return to the clock screen.
3. From the current date display, press the B button to view the Demo Screen.

III. About Angel Calls
 The angel that appears on the Demo Screen is your good luck angel.
1. Sometimes your angel will make beeping noises. This is your angel calling you.
2. When you get an angel call, quickly press the A or C button to answer it.
3. If you answer your angel call promptly, your angel will smile. If you are late to answer it, or you ignore it completely, your angel's health/happiness will gradually decline.



IV. How you view your daily fortune
 1. While viewing the Demo Screen, press the A button, and a triangle mark will appear on the right side of the screen.
2. Align the triangle mark with the topmost option (daily fortune) and press the B button to view the Daily Fortune screen. Here you can see your Health Luck, Friendship Luck, Love Luck, Loss/Gain Luck, in that order.
3. Pressing the C button while viewing the Daily Fortune screen will return you to the Demo Screen.

V. How to read your tarot fortune
1. From the Demo Screen, press the A button, then align the triangle mark with the option that is second from the top (Tarot) and press the B button to open the Tarot Fortune screen.
2. Once the Tarot Fortune screen is displayed, Tarot Cards will start to float past, face-down. While thinking [literally translated, "feeling in your heart"] about the topic that you want to fortune-read, press the B button.
3. The cards will stop moving at the moment you press the B button, and their designs will be revealed. Once the designs have been revealed, the reading from those cards will be displayed.
4. If you want to do another reading, press the B button to start the tarot cards again.
5. From the Tarot Fortune screen, press the C button to return to the Demo Screen.


Docking Compatibility Diagnosis and How to read Baby Face Fortune

If the person with whom you are compatibility score for is of the opposite sex as you, you can find out what kind of face and gender a child born to the two of you would have.
1. From the Demo Screen, press the A button, then align the triangle mark with the option that is third from the top (docking). Press the B button to display the Docking Ready screen.
2. With a second Angelscope, also displaying the Docking Ready screen, press the docking points together and press the B button on either one. Docking will begin.
3. If docking has been successful, a long "Piiiii" sound will be heard. If it was unsucessful, a series of beeps (piiipipipi) will be heard (if docking is unsuccessful, try to align the docking points and try again).
4. After a successful docking, press the B button to view the results screen. This will show the compatibility levels for that day of the two owners of the angelscopes.
5. Additionally, if the other person is a different gender than you, you will be shown the face and gender of a baby that would be born if you had children together.
(*The readings are linked to the current date, so you will have different baby faces and genders shown from day to day, even if your docking partner is the same person.)
6. After a successful docking, you can press the C button at any time to return to the Demo Screen.
7. After a successful docking, upon pressing the A button while viewing the Demo Screen, you will be given a fourth option (results) to choose from. Align with the triangle mark and press the B button to view the results of that docking.
(*Docking Results will only be available for viewing on the day that the docking occured)
(*If you have docked with different people on the same day, you will be shown the results of the most recent docking.)

VII. Turning the sound on and off
1. From the Demo Screen, press the C button and the mark will appear and disappear in the lower righthand corner of the screen.
2. When the mark is visible, the sound is on.
3. WHen the mark is not present, the sound is off.

IX. About Auto ON/OFF
1. If you do not press any button for about 4 minutes, the screen will turn off in order to conserve energy.
2. From Auto Off mode, press the B button to turn the screen back on and view the Demo Screen. (*Even in Auto Off mode, Angel Calls can still happen, and will turn the screen back on automatically.

X. How to change the time
1. From the Demo Screen, press the B button to view the time.
2. Press the A and C buttons simultaneously, and the digits will begin to blink.
3. From this stage, use the A button to change the hours, the B button to change the minutes, and the C button to set and start the clock.

XI. How to change the date
1. From the time screen, press the A button to view the date screen.
2. Press the A and C buttons simultaneously, and the digits will begin to blink.
3. From this stage, use the A button to change the month, the B button to change the day, and the C button to set.
