Pokemon Yellow Bundle Continues to Elude Holiday Shoppers

Gazebo.com Revises Its Weekly Ten Most Wanted List

SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 7, 1999--Based on reports from thousands of retail stores across the country, gazebo.com today announced its revised ``Ten Most Wanted'' list.

Remaining at both number one in interest and in scarcity is Nintendo's® Yellow Pokemon bundle. Only 5% of stores surveyed had any in stock, and the last reported sighting occurred on Dec. 4 at 9:00 a.m. in a Toys 'R' Us in Niles, Ohio.

Coming in at number two in popularity is the Apple® iBook(TM) in Tangerine. According to reports filed on gazebo's Web site, availability is mixed with stock reported as of Dec. 1 at stores such as Comp USA in Culver City, Calif., and J&R Computer World in New York City.

Visitors to gazebo.com have high interest in travel packages to the upcoming Super Bowl in Atlanta, and availability remains good at a number of travel agents listed on the site.

``We value reports of not finding something almost as much as reports of sightings. Our goal is to save shoppers time and effort, and keeping them from making unnecessary trips in holiday traffic is part of our mission.''

Visitors to the site can search for hot products, record sightings (and stock-outs), or suggest a product for the hot list. For each piece of information submitted shoppers can earn additional entries into gazebo's weekly Toy Store Shopping Spree Sweepstakes.
