Click “Start,” and then click “Control Panel.” 2. Click “Add or Remove Programs.” 3. Select “Show Updates” at the top of the dialog box, if it is not already selected. 4. Scroll down the list to “Windows XP – Software Updates,” select “Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1,” and then click "Change/Remove." ***** Uninstalling Internet Explorer 6 updates * Uninstalling Internet Explorer 6 security updates after installing Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1 will cause it to fail. Uninstalling Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1 will return Windows to a working state with Internet Explorer 6. ***** Web Developer * Scriptlets are disabled in Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1. The Scriptlet technology introduced with Internet Explorer 4 has been replaced by DHTML Behaviors. Webpages that use scriptlets will not function in Internet Explorer 7.
